R1 5pw oil connections
Hi just after bit of advice on fitting oil temp and oil pressure on 2003 r1 5pw engine
I have a DD2 Lite dash and want to fit the oil temp sensor and also the oil pressure sensor any help on best place to fit these on the engine much
appreciated
Thanks in advance for any help and advice and any pics showing the best way to fit them.

On 5pw people usually drill and tap the oil cooler bolt for oil pressure sensor.

For oil temp, I replaced the oil level switch with an aluminium adaptor with a 1/8NPT tapping for the sensor to screw into. Works well.

Sorry meant to add what Jek said. Alternatively on my 5vy I drilled/tapped the sump at what I think is a fairing mounting point. It's thicker
there but still less than I'd like but I wanted to retain the oil level sensor at the time.
