Aprilia RSV Mille
Has anyone used an Aprillia engine? What do you think of it?

Aprillia are renowned for reliability problems in the bike world so personally I'd stay away mate. Then again, the Mille is an awsome machine
and EXTREMELY powerful so may be worth the risk.

I guess you're looking at the one I've seen, a 2002 Mille. 126bhp in standard tune I think and the sound of a V-twin will be interesting
too.
If people tend to steer clear of them it could be a bargain. Not sure how easily those 60 degree twin cylinders will fit under the bonnet though.
Let us know how you get on if you go for it!

a friend of mine has just finished finished fitting two aprillia rsv-r (higher power) engines into the back of a mini!
he researched the engines thoroughly before splashing out on them and is VERY happy with them.
go on, go for it. think of all that torque!

Two Aprillia RSV's in the back of a mini? We need pictures. Lots of them, preferably video with sound. Oh and an hour or so behind the wheel
would be nice as well.

Actually sound would probably suffice, and probably just laying your hand on the bodywork and soaking up the vibrations will probably require a change
of underwear.
60 degree V engine, isn't this config used in some car Italian engines?

I came very close to wedging one in my Striker, but went for an R1 as I've been threatening Yamapower for a few years....
I think they would be marvellous!
