RRY CDi output question

Gents:

I'm studying up on using the 929 clocks on the 919 blade. It looks like the 929 CDi has three feeds into the gauge cluster. The Yellow/blue one is for the tacho. The other two are a mystery. Has anyone ever started the car without the Red/Pink and the Blue white feeds going into the cluster? Alternatively, any idea what these are used for? I have a Haynes manual scan of the diagram, but it does not say what they are used for.

--Thanks, Chris

Hi,
What do the RRY clocks look like? I think mine might be the same!

No, they look much different. The RRY has a huge LCD screen that displays information. My question is where the processing is done: in the clocks or the CDI?
