New Build Engine Choice
Just thinking about the next car and looking at what engine to go for. I nearly went for a bike engine last time but changed my mind at the last
minute. Don't regret it my current car is great but would still like to build a BEC.
Assuming Hayabusa and ZX12 are out of my budget what engine would you reccomend? Current favourite is R1.
Thanks.
Ben.

If you can stretch to a ZX12 its a good choice but the R1 wont dissapoint.

Well, just watched an R1 go for £685 on ebay. Put a couple of bids in but didn't want to go mad, don't need it yet. Seems like a good
price though.

If you can't get a Busa then the R1 is probably one of the best alternatives, although you do know that these new fangled bike engines
don't have any torque and you can't get them to pull away properly

Ultimate BEC engine = busa
Best bang for buck = R1
IMHO
