R1 switches and wiring

I've been going through my R1 loom with the Haynes manual, a useless diagram of spaghetti. I have a few questions that some of you might be able to answer.

What type of switch is the starter? (eg normally open momentary action)
What stype of switch is the stop switch?
can it all be run from the ignition switch on my sierra column?

What is the wiring / connector pinout of the cycle lock?
Haynes has the cycle lock as a black box with 12V, gnd and sundry other signals going in to it.
How do I "bypass" the cycle lock?

thanks for any help.

Starter Switch - Normally Open SPST

Stop Switch - Rocker Switch SPST

If its the same as Honda anyway!

Just wire together the stop switch wires and dont use it - its just for emergencies should the bike topple over and is left running in the road or something!

The sierra ignition switch will take the place of the bike ignition switch and I would have the starter on a spst momentary switch on the dash or something - as the bike has.

Connect together the sidestand switch and the clutch switch aswell if it has them!
