Fireblade Engine ground
Gents:
Is there a common location on the blade engine to ground the engine to the chassis? Does the engine need to be earthed in one location or multiple?
Many thanks in advance, Chris

Hi Chris
I just bolted an earth strap to a starter motor bolt I think, although an engine mount would be just as good, it only needs to ensure the main body of
the engine is earthed.
Has the speedo sender arrived yet btw, was sent early last week?

As Chris has said, I had one to the starter motor bolt and one to the engine mounting.

Thanks for the help gents. If either of you know of a pic of the starter mounting, will you post it? I'm having trouble visualizing this.
Chris: No luck yet. I suspect it will take at least 2 weeks.

Cant find a pic but at the back of the starter motor itself, the casting has holes for two vertical bolts that hold the starter in position bolting
down into the engine crankcase, I just used one of those bolts to bolt through an earth strap with an 'O' ring on the end.
