Fireblade 954 HISS bypass still possible?

I know the early injected machines can have a resistor to bypass the HISS system, does this still apply to the later 954 engines, or will I need the HISS system still?

Also, if I don't run the clocks from the bike, I presume it isn't a real problem to use separate "normal" units?

Thanks
Chris

It is possible so Ive read on the BEC list, but there weren't any details on how to do it. The chap who mentioned it was Brian at Psycraft so he might be worth an email to see if he can help.

I'm pretty sure the resistor bypass will work on them all, but then again Honda did upgrade HISS because it was declassified from being Thatcham approved so you'd hope (as a Honda owner) that they'd removed the ability to bypass so easily.

Turns out my engine will have HISS, clocks, key etc so I'm happy anyway. Would be a bonus if I can remove HISS and sell it to reclaim some cash.

Picking it up tomorrow, can't wait
