fireblade speedo
ive been reading about the yellow box speedo healer.has anyone set one up before ,how did you measure the speedo erroe percentage ??
it says on there website about driving on the road and using markers and then noting your trip meter reading ???
i have the balde engine and it does have the 3 wire sensor on the engine.

Measure actual speed using a comparator... ie another car or a cycle speedo (say 40). Whilst doing this read off the shown speed (say 50).
Simple calculation to work out the percentage
A/B x 100
40/50 x 100
80%
therefore your speedo is reading 20% fast.
Dial it in using the dip switch's
Drive!
DONE!
Regarding the connector's make sure you insert the correct pins into the correct place on the socket. This is due to different bike
configurations - it's the same on the ZX12R - just check, check and re-check before you secure them into place. It fit's in between the
clock and the sender on the gearbox (in most cases). Sounds like you are a bit daunted... don't be, just follow it logically and correctly and
all will be well. Most of us have had to do it!

hi hellfire, i have wired up a cycle speedo to it already but i dont like it keeps messing around .i will see if i can use the cyle speedo and check
against my blade clocks.
my mate just come round he said hes got a road angel radar sesor which measures ur speed so give that ago as well .
will order a yellow box in the week .
