no picup for tacho

any one had a problem with pic up 4 tacho. have tried coil packs .im using digi evo dash.

If you have coil packs that means you have an ECU driving them, true? If so, does the ECU have a cam position input? Or a crank position input? Either should be useful assuming the dash input can divide down the pulses. Also, have you checked if the ECU has an output specifically to drive a tach? I know my Honda ECU does...
