castor angle locost
G'Day, nearly finished building the chassis for my ZX9R twin engine locost, can anybody tell me what the castor angle should be?Thanx mate P.S
is there any more mistakes in the ron champion book Thanx

Have you atached the brackets for the bones yet ?
Book dimensions are going to give you just over 2 deg neg castor. You need to be aiming for over 5 . Im working to 6 deg neg castor.
Two ways to do it imho .Either drag the top bones back 15mm or remake the top bones to give same efect. First option gives alsorts of grief

And yeh there is some debate on sterring rack position

Anything over 5 degrees POSATIVE castor.
Ie the virtual king pin should be angled to put the upper ball joint centre line 25mm behind the lower one.
Important both sides are as equal as possible or the steering will pull to one side
