Datatool Digi Gear Indicator

Hi All

I'm trying to get the bits together for my BEC and was looking at the Dataool gear indicator.

As I won't be using a speedo, do you see any problems with using this with the Blackbird engine - I guess all I'll bneed to do will be rovide a power and earth for the gearbox speed sensor.

Any comments would be much appreciated before I spend some money!

not trying to hi jack but im lookingat this too, im struggling to figure out how you programme it as it seems to take some kind of info from the speedo and tacho to work out which gear your using?

Both the motor bike speedo and tacho work on pulses provided from the gearbox and engine management respectively. The Datatool just reads these as it parameters.
