Engine location

I've just discovered that my engine mounts are in the wrong place......

when I first put the engine in I thought the engine was a little low but I assumed it must have been neccessary to get it under the bonnet and that ground clearence at the front would mean it wouldn't be a problem.

However now the bodys on I find I can raise it nearly 2inches and that if I don't ground clearence below the sump will be a measly 2.5inches.

Anyone with a running R1 give me advice as to if 3/4 inch below the chassis will be a problem for sump location?
Also what ground clearence you run bellow the chassis at the front suspension?

Cheers
