Are they 5mm x 1.5 (fine) thread?

std pitch for 5mm is .8mm

Chris, where did you get 8mm by 8mm studs from?

Buy a length of 8mm threaded bar and cut your own, it's only about 75p a metre at our bolt shop. Lock two nuts together to install them. put a nut on before you cut it then dress the end thread before you take the nut off and it will clean it up as you remove it.

Aaahhh, never knew they were normal 8mm into the block.

Will get some normal studs and normal nuts (and extras for Gav).
