throttle cable woes

just got in having spent 4 hours repairing my snapped throttle cable at the pedal-only had to dismantle 1/2 the d**n car to do it-what a chore!!!!!!!

Probably a bit late now and not what you want to hear, but if you had a top mounted pendulum throttle pedal it would have been a 5 minute job!

I've had that problem. The pedal went stiff for some unknown reason and I had to take it out, grease it a bit and put it together. Damn glad I've got long girly fingers!
