Have you considered the increased capacity route for you Busa.
I'm no expert on the Busa but the two most common configurations seem to be either 1400cc or 1500cc. The 1500cc is mostly a new engine and costs
£5K+ from what I've seen. The Radical I help to maintain will be upgraded to 1400cc at the end of the season. I believe that involves rods and
pistons and costs around £1K. The head will also be flowed by Roger at Sabre Heads in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Power is quoted in the region of 200BHP
and 120 lbs ft of torque which would be good for a BEC.

Just to clarify the 1400cc upgrade, it uses different pistons and an over-bore to achieve the 1400cc.

Richard
I've given this some thought - I think I'd investigate a Supercharged Toyota 16/20V. Raw or Fensport would be the people to talk to.
Hopefully catch up with you at Donny.
Cheers

Yeah, it's nice but unfortunately well out of budget!!!!
Anyway.....after a look at the track cars at Donnington this weekend I have decided to stick as is and stay well away from car engines! BEC's
seemed to be well out in front in terms of performance and handling - even that red/black westfield with the turbo ford engine and supposedly daft BHP
that was featured in PPC recently didn't appear to be any quicker than any BEC, even on the straights!!
BEC's rule - yeah.
Rich.
