Fireblade tilt switch

Hi. My newly aquired Joyner buggy with 929 Firebade power, has the tilt swith in place.
My question is, will it cut the engine during hard cornering, say on a track day. If so has anyone wired it out because it won't run with it unplugged.
Thanks in advance.

they have a pretty wide tilt angle, think about how far a bike leans over when cornering, shouldn't cut out in the car.
afaik on the blades its just a case of connecting the two wires together.

Doubt it would be a problem, but why not solder it ON, so the tilt doesn;t matter anymore.

Dan
Yeah but when a motorbike is cornering the forces on the switch are the same as if it were standing still vertically?

nope, at lest note on my zx10 sensor, can tip it to the side and it still runs when stationary.

just wire connect the two wires together on a balde and get rid of it.

ive also found out how the more complex 3 wire tip sensors work so will post instructions later on how to remove them.

Just an update.
On Saturday at Barkston Heath, I found out that the tilt switch will kill the engine during hard cornering. I cut the 3 wires on the switch side of the connector and joined the 2 outer wires together to solve the problem.
