gear linkage

hi

i was wondering if anybody has got some
hints for making my gear linkage for my BEC with rose joints.

any photo's online?

Have a look in my photo archive under 'prop' photos and you might get the idea off mine. Basically its a rod that runs forward, pushes a bar thats welded to a tube that transfers the motion to the right about two inches with another bar thats welded on at 90 degrees to the first that transfers the fore aft movement up and down and that goes the to original front part of the bike gear mech thats adapted to take the rose joint. Pheww!
Ask if you want any pucka pictures and I can oblige.
Oh, and the whole system is the remains of a windscreen wiper mechanism off a Leyland National single decker bus! The gearstick is from a press from the workshop of the said bus depot. Handy working there I can tell ya, if you think some kitcars are bodges you should see how they keep buses going!!

sorry,when i asked for rose joints the bloke gave me those,they do the same job though
