Busa & GIPRO gear indicator configuration
I'm running busa clocks with speedo healer. Speedo pick up from gearbox output flange/prop home made pick ups.
Problems: I'm getting a back feed through the neutral light when NOT in neutral.. it flickers green.
As anyone else here used the GIPRO gear indicator? Why I ask is that I cannot seem to auto configure gear display readings - I can run through the
learning procedure but once stored the display fails to follow the actual gears.
Anyone experience with this that can help?

slightly off topic, but how did you pull up the dealer mode diagnostics? Jump the two cables at the dealer mode socket?
If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!

Gp voltage readings should be
Neutral + 5.0V
1st 1.8V
2nd 2.4V
3rdn 3.1V
4th 3.7V
5th 4.4V
6th 4.8V
I'm getting 4.88-4.93V but only when ign running. No V reading when ign powered up.
1st problem could be ign switch wiring supply feeds.
2nd problem is the back light feed through the neutral switch when not in neutral... earth problem?

problem SORTED - earth wire on GP sensor has been shredded by ring gear.
NEXT problem. The large 30mm nut on the layshaft - clockwise or anticlockwise. Getting the punched section of the nut is proving a pain in the ass.
Any one removed clutch basket/ring gear that can offer assistance re. I have no Haynes Manual. Do I need a tool to clamp the ring gear to remove the
nut?

I did mine up with a windy gun. Seemed to work fine.
Good info on the GI Pro by the way. I am yet to sort mine out.
