5PW SVA Powercommander Map

Has anyone got a suitable SVA powercommander map for a 03 5PW Yamaha R1. I could bang in a load of negatives but one which is tried and tested would be helpful.

Many Thanks

Jim

I'm going to have a play (bang in a load of negatives while reading the exhaust gas pre-cat) with my 5vy this week. When I'm happy with it (think I'm somewhere near) I'll take it to my MOT mate and get it checked on his VOSA calibrated tester. Unfortunatly I don't have a 4gas tester but if I get the pre cat mixture in the right ball park the Lamda calculation shoud be OK. I'm getting a pass reading for CO and HC (o.oo for both) with just the cat and a zero map but it's a bit/lot rich for lambda 1!

I'll let you now the sort of negfatives I put in if I get it right.

I think I will be doing similar. After a bit of searching on the net I found Rob Collingridge's site which has a couple of maps I could try.

Best of luck with your SVA. Due to work commitments I have had to postpone mine from this Friday and am awaiting a new date.

Cheers

Jim

Had a play tonight with the power commander. I've only got 2gas machine so I was reading pre cat gasses to get an idea of mixture. Tin tops run about 0.5%co before the cat so thats what I wanted to see. Once I've got somewhere close I'll take it around to my mates MOT station and put it on his 4gas.

Was getting about 0.9 at idle and -4 in the map corrected that to 0.5

At 2500/3000 revs it was reading 0.3 and + 3 lifted that to 0.5 (not entirely sure this is what I need).

Didn't need nearly as much as I expected. Post cat I'm getting 0.00co and 0.00HC with a high flow cat.
