Busa Airbox
I am trying to get the car a tad quieter and looking to reduce the induction noise. Does anyone know of any alternatives to the eye-wateringly
expensive reverie item?
If anyone is good with fiberglass and have a mould or can make one, I would be more than willing to pay to have one made.
Many thanks!

You can make a simple airbox quite easily.
Carve and sand the polyester to shape, slape some epoxy (polyester will melt the polystyrene) and GF or CF over the airbox, let it harden, carve out
the polystyrene and dissolve any residual with petrol and voila....
It won't be smooth pre-preg CF like the Reverie item but it won't cost anything like it either.... Worked for me anyway...

drop a u2u to triton on here, or i think there's a pic of a dusty one in his archive if you want to check what it's like before asking.

I fitted a Pipercross PX600 Airbox to my ZZR. Don't know if it would fit a Busa, but well worth the cash. Lovely finish, two minutes to fit
(in place of my foam sausage) and took a big chunk of induction roar off the car.
Someone on here is selling one at the minute.

Mike ont think my bonnett will want to play with that. The hole is a different shape and points to a different direction...
Ben: If I could make one I wouldn't be asking...
indykid: I have already sent Mark a u2u as he is doing a pair of seats at the moment, I am awaiting his reply.
If anyone has any off the shelf or manufactured suggestions/ideas that won't make me bankrupt, please let me know!

Just to clarify for anyone else, i presume you mean carve and sand some polystyrene and epoxy over it, rather than polyester.
But yes, a should work well.
