R1 engine mounts

Hi guys.

Got my 07 R1 engine from yorks engines but didnt get the mounting bolts with it and was wondering what you guys had used to mount your engine? Also have you mounted your engine in with rubber mounts or not?
sorry if this is a dumb question.
Cheers

Dave

Solid mounts on your chassis are best. Thread is un-usual as it is a metric fine thread (someone will be along to tell you or do a search).

Afternoon

I used M10 threaded bar on the bottom mount and then M10 1.25 thread pattern on the top mounts for my R1 2006. On the MK the mounting brakets on the top are different widths so check first I think the bolts were about 120 and 140 long though?!?!? I am sure someone will fill you in.

I got the bolts from a local fastening company, and I haven't used rubber mounts.

Hope this helps.
