Fireblade 929 fuel pump question

I have the fuel pump that came with my engine and it appears to be an intank type.
My plan was to use it (as it will be correct for the injection system and will save buying another pump and regulater) in a small swirl pot buy the engine, fed with a low pressure pump (I have a spare in my junk pile) from the fuel tank.

My problem is the wireing to the pump is inside the tank area and open to the fuel. Is this correct or is there a seal missing.
eitherway what could i use to seal the wires inside the swirl pot.
thanks in advance Tony

The in tank pumps for the 929, 954 cbr1000rr and many of the 600,s use a very similar pump the main difference being that the 929 and 954 have a connection for the pressure regulated return. The main wiring connection is on the base of the pump but as you have noticed the wires are exposed internally - this is normal and perfectly ok.
Hope that helps
Andy
