oil temp sender location

Is it ok to have an oil temp sender on the oil cooler bolt on an R1 along with my oil pressure sender or is it better anywhere else.
The senders I need to fit are 1/8 npt and 1/8 bsp but I have m10 x 1 thread in oil cooler bolt, does anyone know where to get adapter(s)

I have an oil temperature sender in the main oil gallery on my ZZR. The pressure gauge is installed remotely from the original pressure switch location.

Realistically you are looking at the oil temperature gauge to see what the maximum temp it is reaching is. I'd plumb it between the engine and the before the cooler.

I killed one engine by installing the oil pressure sender on a t-piece adaptor. The adaptor broke under vibration, sender fell off, all the oil pissed out the engine.

Remote mounting kits and adaptors available from:-
