FS: MK Indy blade - unfinished with 90% of parts needed to complete - UPDATED with inc prices for parts

Hi

UPDATED with individual part prices.

After much debate I am thinking of selling my MK indy blade kit which will include around 90% of the parts needed to complete.

I have worked hard to date with an engineer to get to where I have but now think I just want to buy one that is built so I can use it.

What is included:

- MK Indy Deluxe kit (see MK site for whats included, but includes all bodywork, Shocks, Brake pipes and all interior panels. Cost £3k - sell for £2600 inc refurbished diff
- 1993 900cc Fireblade engine - low mileage and bought and saw running from a westy blade. - cost £700 - sell for £650 and inc carbs and exhaust and loom free
- Carbs and Stainless exhaust system - Cost £250
- Blade wiring loom
- Premier wiring sierra loom (not fitted yet) - cost £130 - sell for £90
- MK Sierra Donor pack - All donor parts needed- including drums on the rear and discs on the front - some items refurbished. - Cost £500. New brake pads, shoes and slaves plus new drums fitted - sell for £350
- Digidash brand new in box - cost £300
- Suede steering wheel and boss - brand new - cost £150, - sell for £100
- modified prop
- modified steering rack
- Blade MK engine cradle (cost £140) - brand new - sell for £90
- Mk Fibreglass seats - brand new - cost £300 - sell for £150 the pair
- New MK radiator, fan and brackets - cost £200 - sell for £120
- 4x brand new 15" team dynamics 7J with toyo tyres from MK - cost £675 - sell for £500
- set of sierra alloys wheels for rolling chassis - cost £200
- MK Dash panel - cost £100 - sell for £80
- MK aero screen - cost £90 - Sellf or £70
- MNR brand new reverse BEC box - cost £599 - sell for £500
- Specialist tools, riveters etc
- Nuts and bolts in all sizes - spend £250 on these
- Rivets - spent £100 on all sizes
- Washers - all sizes inc penny
- 3.62 sierra diff completley refurbished by Phil Jones - cost £300 include in kit price
- Relevant haynes manuals and documentation for the sierra and blade engine.
- Air compressor including some air tools. - cost £250 - sell for £120
-Fuel tank brand new cost £130 - sell for £90

See my blog for more information (http://mkjimbo-mkindybuild.blogspot.com/), the car has the floorpan fitted and each cowner has the suspension fitted, the diff is in and the brake master cyclinder is attached. Most of the braker pipes are attached, as is the handbrake.

It all has to go in one package prefereably, although I may slit some of the bigger items.

Well this little lot has cost me over £9000, and I am looking for £5200 for all of it in.

As I said I may split the bigger items

U2u me for more details.

thanks
James

Good luck with the sale but you may have to split the items to sell its a lot of money for a car thats not finished or tested

prehaps if you post a pic in its present build condition may help

Good luck with the sale, best place might be ebay, I advertised my unfinished fury on here with no luck, could have sold it 3 times over on ebay.

Not really thats a billy bargain, considering a kit from MK costs £3.5k without any of the extras listed if i wasnt building one id snap this up!

I dont know your circumstances but could you not finish the build i know its easier said than done! i can remember when you first got the kit, however hope it works out for you

I know it sounds like a mission but, sell the expensive bits separately then build her up to a roller with the bodywork and some cheap wheels (so it looks like a car, it makes all the difference) then bang it on eBay.

You should see your £5200 if not a little more.

Ebay the bits individually.

You wont sell them to one buyer at those prices.

No one will pay 5K plus for an unfinished pile of bits.

I have bought and sold a few kits / part built projects and you will do better ebaying the bits and as already stated build it up to rolling and it will attract a lot of attention.
Good luck whith itwhich ever way you go.

I sold an unfinished kit on ebay..... rolling chassis stage for a good amount more than this. I think Ebay will be his best option.
