What Airfilter?
I've migged up an airbox for my ZX9 in the picture below
[img][/img]
I was wondering what kind of air filter people think I should use. I am going to attach it via an inlet that I will put into the circular bit in the
picture. I was thinking a foam pipercross cone held onto the airbox with a piece of silicone hose as I'm a bit dubious of the quality of the
cheaper cone filters and I like the pipercross too but I've also considered the internal funnel shaped pipercross (C6000) that goes onto the
pipercross airbox but it worries me that if a piece comes off it may get eaten by the carbs. So I've come for advice on an aesthetics and
performance balance.

I would put a pipe from air box to the front of the car with a cone filter
That way it will get cold air

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

What do people reckon to the cheaper cone filters? They seem to be a lot of steel mesh compared to the better names.

I bought one out of curiosity, and its solid. The mesh shouldnt make a great deal of difference to the airflow, if any.
