can i use a bike can for a silencer or do i need to fit a car one???

A silencer which is designed for a bike will probably work fine with a car engine but just be aware of possible bore size issues - a car engine will
have a larger flow.

As a bike revs higher the flow rate will be similar, as bikes are very tuned, the bike ones flow well.

Only problem I can see is the angle of the outlet pipe.
