fitting alloy petrol tank

Hi
i am new to all this and have an alloy petrol tank that needs fitting in place of the steel one ( on a sylva striker) is this a big task? any guidance would be helpfull, thanks

planning on doing it tomorrow.

Not sure; but make sure you don't hard-mount it. Fix using rubber lined straps ect to stop chaffing of the ali and straps due to vibration (leading to leaks ect).. Or if you have to bolt it in I would think about using rubber top hats to stop ali-to-bolt contact..
