sh-t my 919 fire blade engine broken

as above i think i bent a valve on number 4 piston will now more after the weekend when i can strip it down

That is annoying, my cylinder head is on the kitchen table at the moment too!

A new valve is only about 15quid

Think of it as an opportunity to do a bit of a tidy up, to check the valves all seal nicely and to get the valves shimmed properly. Maybe a set of new valve seals too if you feel the urge.

it may not be as bad as i thought when the bloke put it back togeateher after stripping the head off a few week ago it look like he put the shims in wrong so it holding the number 4 valve open i hope so should be just a case of checking the shims are right
