Tony Law doesn't do stainless does he?

Try Andy Bates.

Tony Law works in steel had a quote from him recently asked for stainless his answer was steel only, anyway a bit closer to you is a company called HQ Customs in Cottingham link they have a trailer too so can fetch your car to work on.

I'm planning on using them they have done me a quote for a custom stainless exhaust with header silencer and cat for my Duratec.

Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

I've never quite understood why Tony Law don't make exhausts in stainless steel. Seems to me they could benefit hugely if they did. They certainly seem to have a good reputation.

Maybe they don't need the extra business that stainless steel might generate, or maybe they use 'old school' techniques and aren't prepared to invest in new equipment. Who knows? They do make stainless exhausts for turbo engines though, so would have thought a natural progression would be to offer full stainless, as well as mild steel tube exhausts.

Or maybe they've established a small, highly profitable business and don't need the extra work........

You don't say where you are or how far you're prepared to travel.

I had the exhaust for my ZX10 engined BDN fabricated by Charlie at Pro-Speed Exhausts in Cardiff. All stainless and a work of art. Made more difficult by having unusually long primaries and secondaries and the tight space it all had to fit in.

Cost me just over £700 but that included a removable cat with a decat pipe. Quiet too (at my request) - tested at Snetterton last weekend at 94dBA @ 7500rpm.

I'd vote for Tube engineers in Lincoln.

Made mine for me, IL6, matched length headers, all stainless, sliding joints so you can replace any bit you damage and it's easy to get on and off.

Zorstec in Bradford are apparently very good but I've no experience so couldn't confirm or otherwise. Maybe some other members on here have used them?

I haven't used Zorstec, but got a reasonable quote from them. They have lots of pictures of projects that they have done on their website.

I thought Tony Laws was about as good as you can get (from a gas flow/power perspective), but I may be wrong.

http://www.simpsonraceexhausts.com have a reputation which is good, but no-where near you and not cheap (far away from Yorkshire in two ways).

http://www.ojzengineering.co.uk have a good reputation.
