Carb jet sizes for BECs

Evening all

What size jets are you running on your BEC carbs? Is there a rule of thumb or is it a case of run the jets, see what they do, then try the next?

My BEC was perfect at Bedford apart from it running rough between 2-3k and at top end in 5th (5 speed box gsxr1100 wp)

Any clues as to if its running lean/rich by the above?

Low end stuff sounds like float heights. Float heights drop over time and and it starts to run very rich, manifesting as poor running and easy flooding.

As for top end in 5th, what fort of filter arrangement are you running? Could be starting to restrict.
