Clutch cable

Now I Have put in uprated springs the cable has to be constantly adjusted. I think it will give soon. I used a universal clutch cable from bike shop. What have others used? The original cable would not reach.

cable off a cb250 from honda dealer. 15 odd quid and nice and meaty. just adjust/bend bracket so cable curves around over top of gearbox/back of engine in a nice arc instead of down. i'll mail u a photo of mine if u want?

Would appreciate that.

I've just been checking mine. The brass bush on the pedal end is shagged. The cable really could do with beafing up.

Cable broke today...what a suprise..NOT.

Thought.....Has anyone extended the leaver on the engine? This should increase travel, and be lighter.

Just to finish off his thread. I bought a new cable from MNR . Had to shorten the inner and swage on a nipple but its much stronger and smoother.
