Plumbing in radiator expansion tank.

Hi

I am about to put the expansion tank into my gixxer bec (gixxer). I have searched through threads on the plumbing and came to the following conclusions:

Coolant outlet pipe from thermostat should go into top of expansion tank.

Coolant pipe from top of radiator should go into bottom of expansion tank.

Does this sound right to you?

Thanks!

close, you need a "T" piece in yr btm hose feed this to btm of bottle, this allows water back into system, the top of yr bottle should be connected to the small outlet on the thermo housing, assuming its on the housing on that engine, it normaly is.

So this is so that the the thermostat can still flow some water when it is closed?
