Fireblade H-VIX servo

Is the H-VIX servo (like the exup valve) needed on the fireblade. I don't have this with my engine and I was hoping to leave it off or just mod the loom.

Anyone fitted the RRY without this servo.

The EXUP is removable if you upgrade the exhaust to a straight trough system. I assume your system is the same.

it will run fine without the servo but if you are using the standard rry bike clocks it shows up as an engine fault if its not connected, you may be able to sort the fault by altering the loom.

I believe the Exup servo just needs 7.5Ohm resistor - can't see yours being much different. You can leave the servo in but not connect it to the valve - just something else to go wrong then though
