ZX9 oil pressure switch.

Can somebody post a picture of the oil pressure switch connected to the engine.
The problem is I removed mine and although I remember it being tight to remove ( i assume because of the silicone it had been originally put in with) I cannot remember if it screwed all the way in or not, although it looks like it should.
At the moment I get half way down the threads and Im afraid to go much further as its getting a bit tight. This may be because of the forementioned silicone, but I need to make sure before I break something.

The oil pressure switch has a tapered thread (1/8 BSP I think) so it does NOT wind all the way in. Half way sounds about right from memory.
If it is getting tight then don't force it too hard or you might crack the block. You may wish to use some ptfe tape on the thread to ensure a good seal though.

Id agree, if its anything like the blade then that too was tapered and it only went in about half way
