Clutch Pedal Connection
What's the most reliable clutch cable to pedal connection ?
At present I've a small brass ferrule through a hole in the pedal so it swivels with, in effect, a bolt pinching the cable to a washer. The
connection swivels but I've never been happy with it. The cable has now chaffed and I'm down to one or two strands left !
Perhaps a clevis pin next ?
Cheers, Lyn.

Can't you get a clutch cable that has a proper nipple on the end to take a clevis etc?
I modded what I think was a Mk3 Cortina clutch cable that has a "polo" on the end to take a clevis pin, I just cut it down to length and
crimped/soldered on a nipple at the clutch end.

Good idea, I'll try to find one in the motor factors tomorrow.
I modded my R1 cable (with the clutch arm turned to get a direct pull) and put a solderless nipple on the pedal side. This was a twat to fit but
worked for a while.
Working at the arm end should be easier that at the pedals.
Thanks.
