Busa coolant temp & Oil pres gauge. How?
Hi
I'm fitting a busa engine and using the stock ECU and a Caterham temp gauge and oil pressure gauge. How do I link these up? The Busa has a two
pin temp sensor and the Caterham gauge uses one. I think I need to keep the busa one for the ECU to work right so how do I fit another?
I have bought an oil pressure adaptor from Westfield but it has some funky thread that’s slightly bigger than M12, any idea what it is?
Thanks
J

For your temp sensor you will need to fit one into your rad top hose using a hose adaptor available from the like of demon tweeks, merlin motorsports
and many others. You can't share the existing sensor between the gauge and ECU. You will need to get the appropriate sensor to go with you gauge
and get a hose adaptor to suit. Downside of this method is that it won't read until the thermostat opens but I don't know of any other
simple solutions.

My pressure gauge is plumbed into the block where the oil pressure warning light switch goes. Not sure what the thread is - can't remember,
sorry.
