Just make you're own - very simple - get a small piece of ali, cut out holes for oil pick-up's, get yourself another gasket, and Bob's your Marley - save yourself ££££££'s

Thats what I was gonna say, about the ST sump that is. Altough £200 odd quid is a lot they do look damn sexy and raise the clearance by about 30 mm.

''they do look damn sexy ''

How much time do you spend looking at the underneath of your car!

I got my sump chopped by Chris Gamblins uncle John, (see pics in archive), then made a baffle plate out of a sheet a ali. It really was very easy. There is one flexible pipe, one plastic filtered pick-up (which John will shorten for you) and a short metal pipe (which doesn't need shortening) all of which you cut holes in the ali for. They don't need to be to accurate or a tight fit. Then it's just a case of marking and drilling all the holes around the edge for the bolts to fit through. Mine over hangs a little out the sides all the way around to ensure a good seal, then just get yourself 2 gaskets (or one if your old ones ok) for each side of it. It was about an hours work tops.

Not sure what John charges for the sump chop (mine was cheap at it was the guineapig) but I guarantee it's MUCH MUCH cheaper than ST's.

U2U Chris for his uncles details.

Cant remember what he charged you Jasper, but he's charged £50 for a couple he's done lately, or £60 if you want an additional boss etc added for oil temp sender.

Double barrelled surname eh Chris!

Chris Gamlin-Nob

Personally, would've stuck with plain old Chris Gamlin
