Propshaft Problems
I'm wondering about dropping a bike engine in my Locost but need help with making the back wheels turn. How do I connect the propshaft to
the engine? I'm guessing I have to fabricate or buy some sort of part. If it helps, I'm looking at Suzuki Hayabusa engins but if you
have any advice on other, better units, let me know. If anyone has any pictures to accompany there answer, that would be very helpful. Thanks

Hi Good choice
You just need an adaptor flange which fits inplace of the sprocket and then a two piece prop shaft.
The flanges are readily available for most engines.
Have a look on MK9Rs and Hellfires website and photo archive for some ideas
Hope that helps, but keep looking and posting.

I'm sure I've got one, just don't know where I've put it

Have a look at my photo archive prop_flange, you can also see the speedo pick-up magnets and a bit of the gear shift linkage.
Cheers
