Castle Combe 24th August
Well, the Locost (mostly) worked well on the track day last week. Clutch cable popped off the linkage due to pedal backstop working loose and giving
too much slack, gear change linkage went wobbly at the pivot, earth wire connection to fuel pump went bad, all of which easy to fix in the paddock and
arguably what a shake down is for! 10 minutes before the flag dropped at the end of the day the left front wing stay broke but by then the car was
going well and I was starting to get the hang of driving it. It is very different from the GTM Spyder! Definitely quicker. I took 3 seconds off my
best ever lap in the GTM and for sure there is much more to come as my head was telling me to brake far too early based on the limits of the GTM!
