Important parts do not bend.
That sounds like a challenge to me. Our postman is one of those.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Quick question.
What would one use to cut the holes for the rubber whatchamacallits to sit in. I don't have a 50mm drill bit to do it with???

Am I right in thinking I need a minimum of a JC40/25 for a carbed R1?
Thanks

Yep that's what I'm using on my R1, as I want to get it under the bonnet.

I'm supposing my filter came today - then back to the royal mail depot.....
RichiC I've gone for JC40/25 - I'll post a pic tomorrow if you want, I've cut the holes in it already, just waiting to whack the
foam on
ATB
Bob C
PS crankcase breather pipe - are we feeding that into the air filter???

Crankcase breather - vent that to atmosphere (through a sperate filter) or better still, into a catch tank - I hear coke cans are good catch tanks...
I'm sure someone will come up with a better 'locost' idea in a minute...
Best Regards,
Steve.

Aha - why not (crank breather into filter) - do the foam filters not like the oil?
How are the catch tanks arranged,- do you "bubble" the crankcase fumes through what oil's in there or is it just an open space where
you hope it will condense out?
Bob C
PS on my last car it was just a pipe pointing at the road...
