how do i weld titainium to stainless ????
as above i been making my exhaust and come across a problem i cant weld my new stainless link pipe to my modified r1 can because its titainium what
can i do any ideas please many thanks ian

With pop rivets!
As far as I am aware, unless there is a dissimilar metal ( a rod that welds to either) you will have to make a mechanical join.

i believe you should be able to tig it with tiatnium filler rod not sure what grade though. will ask next week at my tigwelding course if you can
wait.

think someone had a thing on here about a similar problem a few weeks back. think the answer was no...
if the titanium end cap is riveted on, can it be removed, and something from here http://www.pjengineering.co.uk/products.asp?cat=10 riveted on
instead? then welded to the down pipe?

Unfortunately you cannot fusion weld Titanium to stainless steel.
You would need to weld a titanium link pipe to your R1 can
