Dynojet the carbs and a K&N filter is the best bang for your buck, will release a few horses but needs setting up on a dyno to maximise.
You only live once - make the most of it!

Not sure you're going to want to hear this, but. . .
I wouldn't bother trying to tune your motor apart from fitting a jet kit and getting it sorted on a dyno. This'll cost about £250
total.
Any decent tuner will charge you more than it'll cost to buy a new engine for a gain of less than 10%, with less reliability. Remember that
these motors are highly tuned from the factory.
Fitting a later model engine will gain you around 20-30% more power and loads more reliability; through the use of better materials and manufacturing
processes.
Just my 2pence worth.
Just to add - I used to race a 2001 CBR600 and just fitted a race zorst, stage 1 jets and K&N filter and went from 92BHP (back wheel) to 105BHP.
with gains throughout the usable rev range.
