What choke knob or lever?
I need to fit a choke knob or lever and cable to my 'Busa BEC. I don't particularly like the old fashioned conventional pull and twist
arrangement. Has anyone done anything different? Are there billet knobs or leavers available?

My choke is connected to the bonnet release lever on the sierra steering column. It is only on as long as you pull it but it doesn't take long
until it will idle on its own.

I second the sierra bonnet release lever,
a bike brake cable and ferrule off the bay.
cost me 4 quid and you can't see it.

MInes going on the bonnet pull aswell.
Its hidden and will fill the hole. Mine onyl needs it to fire up easier when its been standing for a while.
You should be able to pack out the pivot some how to stiffen it so it stays on if needed..

OK, I'll go for no choke. We had the original blade choke connected to the bonnet release catch on the Sierra column. We never used it and never
needed to, so when we built the ZX12R, we simply didn't bother with the choke. It's just unnecessary weight........

Bonnet release for me to. The ZX9R wont start with out the choke.
But like others mentioned it does not take long the engine to run without the choke.

Hi, are you sure you need one? I second the Hellfire approach. I've never connected up the choke on my Blade and have not had any problems.

Mine the other day too a good 5 mins to warm up (winter) Bit of a pain in the arse holding the bonnet pull while trying to get the helmet gloves etc
on. Will be changing mine for a pull and twist one soon. Dont really like those old fashioned ones so im also looking for something more up to date.
