Covering R1 clock for SVA
Hi ive made a hole in the centre of the dash for the R1 clocks which i will sandwich together after sva. Right now to get to sva how have others
radiused theirs to get it through - pics would be great.
Ive been thinking about mounting behind the scuttle so it is visible through a perspex panel. Can anyone see a problem with this idea?
Cheers
Adam

On my Phoenix I used some high density adhesive backed foam and created a rubber frame.
To make the template photocopy your clocks and use this as a guide and then use either a sharp craft knife or a hot wire.

Cheers Jim, I think weve got some mega thick foam lying around that we planned to use to the seats and steering wheel so that might be worth a try
just need to find a suitable adhesive.

Mines outside the exluded area of the steering wheel and it does look like it has some protuding edges so to be on the safe side il do it. Just
annoying with these little things at the moment that i know will take quite a while

Didnt i read somewhere that if its behind the steering wheel, the radius isnt a problem?
Kindest Regards,

It is but we have had to put ours in the middle as with the mnr scuttle it is on a curve so is easier to mount it central and is not within the
excluded zone
