2008 blade engine

hi guys, if i were to fit a 2008 blade engine into my mnr vortx would it then be subject to an emissions test, it currently has a 1998 919cc in it which is carbed

is your car already on the road?? It will not make any difference to the MOT test if its already road legal anyway

It should be on your V5 but i think you need to meet the cat emmissions level each year being on a "new" plate - that wont change if you swap the engine over anyway.

How tall is the 08 blade motor ?

I thought the later 954 and litre engines were an awkward install, due to their height ?

yeah i would be running dry sump system and an altered install angle, just lookin at options the now really
