How do you mean "remote airfilter" ?

Are you trying to fit an airbox but not directly?
Lengthen the inlet trumpets before the airfilter?

i have an airbox fitted with a flexi on the inlet and a filter on the end of the flexi pipe
the filter is directly behind my rad getting a lovely supply of red hot air
the filter is in a tubular housing im planning/trying to cut the housing and fit it like the one on mk's race car (the one danny drives)
but i cant seem to get my head round how to do it. i thought if anyone had a pic it would make the idea slightly clearer in my head
hope all that makes sense
