So I guess that would circumvent the SVA / IVA process.![](/images//smilies/mad.gif)
unless the builder put "dutton" down as the make for the SVA???
The plot thickens

If he's telling the truth, he's an idiot. How can you expect to sell something if you don't know what it is. Also its 8.6K and not
met its reserve (10K BIN), 8K seems very high for a car with so much risk involved when there are loads of seveneque cars on Ebay for less.
I'm not sure either way but if it isn't a scam the bloke should have found out more about it if he wants to sell it and he shouldn't
complain about people asking questions.

Looking at the pictures I've changed my mind.
The bloke apears to have about 4 exec saloons which is weird (having 4 cars aint weird but having a bmw, lexus and jag is). And shurely if the builder
ode him money he should have sold the car and given money, not given the car that the lender doesn't want or know about.

I think some 'forceful debt collection' techniques may have been used!

I spoke to my dad who was at one time a debt collector, he says a debt collector wouldn't take a car but a liquidator might, though he said a
liquidator would normally sell something like that through a speciallist, not on Ebay.

this car was taken as a debt...this car belonged to a friend.
