Was next to a Stratos replica with a 2l yamaha V8 in it at shelsley on sunday. He was saying hes done thousands of miles around france and britain including hillclimbs without a single problem with the engine. Shows these frankenstein engines can be reliable and low maintenance!

The transaxle on the other hand...

Very impressive car! Not much 205 left about it though :p

Hmm, goes outside to have a look at the various bits left over from my pile of ZZR engines.

Complete Heads x 2 Check

Pistons x 8 check

Barrels x 2 check

Oh well, V8 it is then.

Right, just need a block of billet ally, a crank and some bearings.
