Bike engine paperwork/number needed.

Anyone with contacts in the bike breaking business may be able to help.

Just found out that the engine in my unfinished bec has a stolen recovered engine with no number on it and no paperwork.

Its a Suzuki GSXR1100 water cooled and so am looking for anyone whos breaking/broken one and has paperwork or a blown one/case whatever with a number on it. The engine obviously needs to be pre cat.

Thanks

Would it be worth lookigg for a set of cases on eBay or a gsxr1100 forum like www.oldskhoolsuzuki.info ? To see if anyone has anything?

I think the implication is to get the casings from a blown engine. Then stamp the numbers from that one onto yours and effectivly clone the engine.
