Didn't Gordon Murry have something to do with designing the Midas?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

The bloke who designed the Midas was Harold Dermott (McDermott?) who was an expert on composites and he worked on the McLaren F1 project with
Murray.
Gordon Murray had a Midas with a rear mounted Alfasud engine.

Many years ago there used to be a Fiat 500 with a lotus twincam engine hanging out the back on bits of angle iron, it was very quick, I wonder what
happened to that?
Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

I suspect it crashed backwards through a wall and is now sitting in a barn.
It'll come up on e-bay one day, everything does
